Our Origins

As fishermen, we know that success can be determined not only by our knowledge but also by our gear. Lure selection plays a vital role as it is used to capture the attention of fish. In 2023, our team of avid anglers revolutionized the lure industry with the introduction of lures that electronically mimic bait. While analyzing the current lure landscape, our team noticed that the lure presentation solely depends on the fisherman. That’s when we decided to make the lures do the hard work.

Where We Started

Charged Bait originated in Northern California, just east of Sacramento. We have gathered some of the best anglers from the Sacramento region who share their key knowledge of what lures catch the most fish.

Nolan, the founder of Charged Bait, wishes to create the best lures for anglers. His passion for fishing allows him to highlight the challenges anglers face on each fishing trip. He not only created our electronic fishing lures, but he actively uses them each time he fishes. Nolan knows that settling is not an option when it comes to his fishing gear and believes that you should not either. He wants every angler to have a leading edge on the water.

Sean johnson

Pro Angler

Sean is a well-known fisherman across the United States and has earned several champion titles from large tournaments. His impressive knowledge of fishing has played a key role in our creation of electronic movements. Sean continues to compete and win tournaments using our lures throughout the country. His participation continues to help expand the reach of our innovative lures. Sean knows how to catch fish and wants to share his expertise.

Mechanical Engineer

Ashley is one of the greatest engineers in her field. She not only works in the fishing industry, but she herself is also a dedicated angler. The conceptual idea for an electronic lure was brought to her attention and she was the one who made it come to life. Ashley has worked for many leading fishing companies to design lures that have revolutionized the game. She has now set the bar even higher with a product that far surpasses the competition.

Alex is a long-time friend of Sean Johnson and can be credited for the advertising success of Charged Bait. He has worked closely with Sean and has helped him to gain recognition through public platforms. Alex’s knowledge and connections within the fishing industry have been vital as we have been able to reach important outlets to show off our lures. His creativity shows no bounds, as he works to find new avenues to spread awareness of Charged Baits.
